Yet another lovely day at sea. A strong breeze, but plenty of sun and fresh air for our colds.
The theatre presentations today were very good. They advertised a session about David Campese, the rugby union winger at 11am, so Malcolm went to see that, expecting that only rugby fans would be there. In fact the theatre was full and included more than 30% women. It started with a four minute video showing some of his many tries, then Campese himself stepped out on the stage and talked off the cuff for 45 minutes. Most enlightening. At present he and his family live in Durban and he commentates on the Super games. No one would give him a job in Australia.
After lunch we went to the planetarium show about whether there might be life elsewhere in the universe. Then straight after that we listened for an hour to the flautist and pianist playing music by French composers from Saint Saens to Michel Legrand.
After dinner with Geoff and Joan we saw a French movie titled "Girl on a Bicycle".
