We were on edge in Mannheim, Paris and Calais Frethun to make our connections, but arrived at our hotel at 8:30 pm, making 12 hours of travel. We needed Malcolm to use French at Calais because the TGV station was a long way from the town and we did not know that we had to board a bus to get there. This was one of our biggest days of travel and we took no photos. We used the hotel Wifi to book our places on the P&O Ferry at 9pm and will get a taxi to the port at 8:30 tomorrow, hoping to get to Southampton by 4pm.
