Today we needed to get back into the routine of life on board the QM2. Take an early breakfast at the buffet, circle the outside deck a couple of times, highlight things we want to go to on today's Program Sheet, go to the library to pick up two books each plus the daily crossword, sudoku and quiz. In the morning Malcolm attended two Apple computer lessons, a talk on the solar system and a fruit sculpture demonstration by three of the chefs.
In the afternoon we went to a concert by a pianist who played Mozart, Chopin, Bach and Rachmaninoff, followed by a lecture on Broadway musicals; both of these were excellent.
Dinner was formal tonight so we donned our fancy gear and had a wonderful meal. This was followed by a performance by tenor Jonathan Ansell who was formerly part of a pop-opera group "G4". The English people knew him because that group won the first X-Factor show in England.
